Mastering the Edge

Chef Lee, of Chef LC Cutlery, was mentored by Master Grinder and Edge Master, Christopher Capehart of Capehart Cutlery, learning all aspects of the different edges that a chef would require for their knives.

 

Christopher Capehart endorses and is confident that Chef LC Cutlery will continue the traditional sharpening process that Capehart Cutlery started in 1987.

How It All Began ...

Christopher A. Capehart started working with knives in 1970, becoming a butcher in 1974. He Traveled through Europe and the Middle East cutting meat and cooking. As a butcher, he could not find anyone who could not sharpen his knives well. That is what created the desire to create a knife that would hold a better edge and create better-tasting food. Chris started Capehart Cutlery and Mobile Knife Sharpening Service in 1987 with his family.
